cycle in eight solar years. At the end of eight years, the same
configuration of Venus is transported back to the same calendar date.
This means, for example, that Venus will first appear as a morning
star on the same date it appeared as morning star eight years
before....The long term accuracy of the table is
extraordinary....Armed with the relationship between the solar
caldendar and Venus cycles, the May didn't stop with eight years and
five rounds of Venus. The wanted Venus to match up with their 260-day
ritual callendar, too, and that meant going through more cycles. And

I posted then that I would use my considerable spawning
abilities to distract her. I'm happy to report that she has now
reconsidered and, no thanks to my incredibly huge dorsal, the
'Hill will be allowed to continue!
Why? (see above) also,the 'Hate' speech seems to have abated,
and yet, at once and at the same time,(in a contiguous manner)
She seems to be amused by the antics of the 'Monkey Folkel'
In particular,the whole Orgone thing made her 'Drop an Egg'
Fortunately I was able to fertilize it before any human mutants
came near.
So rest peacefully dear 'Hillers. All is well.

The past 6 years or so have been great for music. Here's some highlights: Tortoise's TNT & Millions Now Living Will Never Die To me, TNT is the best album in the entire universe. Beyond that even. This is fully instrumental ingeniousness, that can only be heard and uncomparable to anything in my eyes. I feel that Apple Venus and TNT have a bond to them in some way, but I can't place how. Neutral Milk Hotel's Aeroplane Over the Sea One of the best folkpopfuzz albums ever made. The words are great. The singing is great. The songs are great. Buy this and be very pleased. Olivia Tremor Control's Black Foilage & Dusk @ Cubist Castle 60s pop-psychedelia ... on acid. You haven't heard pop songs this good, their so good it seems like fantasy, and OTC recognizes this, and is unafraid to shatter your dreams. The new Eels album is very good. Jim O'Rourke's Eureka and Halfway to a Threeway are superb! The man is a song genius. Sam Prekop's self-titled. Sea & the Cake's The Fawn. Flaming Lips' Soft Bulletin. Godspeed You Black Emperor. Beck's last few records. [All of them in fact]. Air's Moon Safari is one of the best of its kind. Stereolab's Emperor Tomato Ketsup is a must own. I guess thats it for me right now. d. Way to go, Kev! Once, when I was 16, I was involved in a group dominated by 35-50 year old men, and as Kevin is here, and I was quite active in that group, as Kevin is here. And, in one of my numerous posts, I said something they all thought was clever, and then one of them said, "Out of the mouths of babes comes wisdom." I wasn't sure then if I liked being called a "babe" -- since I was struggling to gain entry and acceptance in a group of much older guys, and wanted to be considered "one of them", not just a "kid" -- but "time wounds all heels" or something like that, and looking back on it now, I think it was a genuine compliment. And one I never forgot, on top of that. So, Kevin, "Out of the mouths of babes comes wisdom." You did it right, my friend. And, once you reach the next phase, when you really start dreaming about this girl and you know in your bones that she's the one for you (who knows, maybe after your date this weekend?), but despite all of that, somehow you find you're stuck again and don't know why, and you can't seem to do what you feel you have to do...
