Hi:

Over at the XTCfans MySpace site (http://www.myspace.com/xtcfans),
Andy takes a look back at XTC's first two albums from his perspective
as the band's guitar player (while the song of the week is a fantastic
live version of "Set Myself on Fire" that also includes Dave Gregory
fleshing things out).

If you want to know why Andy thinks that playing live doesn't make you
a better guitar player, or what happened to all those girls in the
front row at XTC concerts, check out the XTCfans blog site at
http://blogs.myspace.com/xtcfans.

Good and sweet, nice to eat
If you like it, just repeat...

Hi Chalkhills children,

Currently working with a friend on an exhibition / book about all that
surrounds record wrapping (sleeve, art variations, hidden data, lock
grooves...) I, of course, put GO2 & its sleeve on the forefront as a
kind of manifesto of sleeve art.

I have got original UK LP, CD and advertisement alright, but I still
miss the cassette, promo poster and promo biography (reproduced on
Chalkhills site). And miss, at the very least, the texts which you
surely know are all different.

So I am desperately seeking the UK tape (TCV 2108 , not the US VIC
2108) and i have not seen one so far. Hasn't anybody collected this
stuff before ? (Wrapped in grey, I've seen four in the same amount of
years, one still rolling on ebay...)

Please help

PS : Any text (the one under the ad banner for instance) transcription
will be welcome, but of course I'd rather buy them to be able to
exhibit the whole for the general public amazement (hopefully)

Hey, I've got an extra (mint) Twomey Chalkhills for those interested
Cheers

Hi folks,

I just received Jen Olive's new album, "Warm Robot," today after ordering it
from the APE website. It's a tough album to describe -- Jen is a little
Roches, a little Suzanne Vega, a little Bjork, and a little XTC -- but it's
definitely worth checking out.

Hi All,

Aplogies if this has already been listed, but if not, on Thursday 15th
April at 11.30, John Harris takes a look at British inbetweenland
suburbs and provincial towns, examining their importance in the
development of British pop music. During this, he interviews Andy
Partridge. We also get a look at lovely Bromley hometown of David
Bowie and Siouxsie. Bits of Betjeman and Orwell promised too.
