I has Elvis on the cd player. Went downstairs to switch up the laundry. The dryer was rumbling and another various fan was twirling. The combo of fan and dryer and floor between the music and my ears produces the strangest melody that sounded like a new Andy Partridge song - one I had never heard! It was very haunting and beautiful - sort of like Andy doing a song inspired by Jeff Buckley. Very interesting. Well the song didn't just stay static - it actually progressed and had different sections - can you imagine such a thing? It sure was pretty.

1. Sorry if I clogged things with my lyrics and off-topic banter.
Relphie knows how to edit.
2. Pete Murray (the Aussie one) is my friend. Music not to
everyone's taste, sure. But lay off the vitriol, pull yer head
in and let there be space for anything. You can always switch
the dial. Crikey! (Auntie Mavis agrees).
3. Jamie's stickers are good. Heed his plea.
4. Jason Brown (ripvanruben). Buddy, I look at Chalkhills thru the
website, I've given up on the digest format. I've found, for
what it's worth, that you can talk to like-minded friends
anytime. Be my guest.
5. I'm listening to "Rag & Bone Buffet" right now. It's a
motherlode!
6. It's probably true to announce that I'm older than most of you
others. Okay, I'm slightly older than Andy, but just a tad
younger than Dave G. But I'm sitting here typing this while
wearing - yes - Levi's. And it's actually a good look, so
there!
7. Kai Chambers (son of Terry) will be "in da house" with me next
week, with his merry men, Graham and Roy with their power-trio
LOVER. It will be beyond great.
8. Suggestion to the doubters, and those who have problems
grappling with sanity and biz. Chill out. Put on that record
that goes: "I've got 1-2-3-4-5, Senses Working Overtime". See
how you feel after that!
